Although standard motorcycles perform well with
the original equipment ECU (electronic control unit),
a motorcycle modified for racing or hard road use
(e.g. race can) may require changes for optimum
horsepower gains.
Forget expensive "Power Commander" type
boxes that
trick the ECU. Our advanced fuel management system
is used in conjunction with the original equipment
ECU and communicates directly with the ECU allowing
for fuel map adjustments at four points:
- Slow speed - Idle / Cruising
- Low throttle position acceleration
- Medium throttle position acceleration
- High throttle position acceleration
ECU Remapping is only available on SV650's from
model year K3 onwards as the bikes have fuel injection.
For prior model years, Dynojet kits are readily
available.
Dynojet offer a wide range of kits, with several
"stages" available to fit specific needs.
Stage 1 - Intended for use on motorcycles with a
standard engine utilising the stock air box, air
filter and exhaust system. The kits are fully adjustable
to allow the use of a well designed aftermarket
can and K & N air filter.
Stage
1 - kits are designed to improve throttle response
and driveability. In most cases a power increase
of 5% throughout the range can be achieved.
Stage 3 - This kit is intended for motorcycles
with standard or mildly tuned engines using a
well-designed aftermarket exhaust system and K
& N Air filter. In most cases power increases
of 10 - 15% can be achieved.
